I ate a frog! It was simpler than I thought!

I am an avid blog reader. I have often thought I might like to have a blog of my own but figured it was just too complicated and involved to set up so I kept putting it off. Well it is a rainy, blustery day and I was wasting time on the computer and thought I would give it a try...less than 5 minutes later I am the author of a new blog!
I wonder how many things in life are like that? The thought of doing it is much worse than the actual doing of the deed. I read a quote somewhere just recently, and I can't remember it exactly, or who even said it, but the jist of it was this. "The hardest part of a job is starting it."
That is so true. Just last week I knew I had to clean windows and I wore myself out more on the complaining and thinking of it that the actual work of it.
There is an old saying that goes like this; "If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long!" Your "FROG" is the one thing you are most likely to procrastinate on, so it is the very thing you should do something about now!
Did you eat your frog today?
Enough said!

  1. Yay!!! I'm going to enjoy being a regular reader of your blog.

OH! And I went directly to the library last week, and borrowed the first volume of L.M. Montgomery's journals. It's fascinating! Thank you for the recommendation.

  2. I LOVE this Wendy! So much wisdom in that saying. I can put off things I don't want to do for years... but ya know, I might just clean out my garage this weekend! LOL
